About BRCA, Blessings and Battle Scars
Who is behind BRCA, Blessings, and Battle Scars? My name is Jennifer. I'm a communications executive who hopes to share valuable information with my fellow warriors (and their families) in the BRCA and breast cancer communities. While I'm not a doctor and do not provide medical advice, my goal is to relay insights that would have been helpful throughout my personal health journey, particularly as I navigated the challenges of BRCA1 and triple-negative breast cancer. I also want to share information about what to expect and tips that helped me through surgeries, chemo, cold capping, life post-treatment, etc. Finally, and most importantly, I learned that completely trusting God was the only way I would make it through this ongoing journey with my sanity and joy intact.
